Larry E. “Mike” Daniels is a lapidary and jewelry artisan whose passion is creating unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry!  Mike’s boyhood interest in rocks and minerals led to an adult fascination with cutting gemstones and crafting custom settings for them. 

Mike is particularly enamored with Australian opal, and is a prolific opal cutter.  He has an impressive selection of premium Australian opal, including black opal and boulder opal from many of Australia’s famous opal fields, including Lightning Ridge and Coober Pedy.  He also has a wonderful selection of colored stones, and access to GIA-rated diamonds from world-renowned cutters.

Mike’s studio is in Aiken, S.C., and his jewelry creations may be found in trendy boutiques, at custom jewelry shows, gem shows, craft fairs, and the like in the Southeastern U.S. 

All jewelry at Custom Treasures features hand-cut stones and/or hand-crafted settings created by the artist himself (or other trusted and talented jewelry artisans affiliated with Custom Treasures).
